Présentation
My work focuses on exploring cultural relations between Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and the Indian Ocean, with particular attention to Francophone literatures and contemporary popular music.
In literature, the aim is to analyze the aesthetic and historical exchanges connecting Africa to other Francophone regions, such as the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. The research highlights the circulation of ideas, cross-cultural influences, and the transformation of literary discourses in global contexts, while also examining the new forms and practices emerging from these interactions. In the field of music, the focus is on the trajectories and exchanges between African and Francophone music scenes. Emphasis is placed on phenomena such as musical covers, stylistic evolutions, and their integration into a globalized artistic landscape, revealing complex and dynamic interactions.
This work seeks to demonstrate that Africa holds a central position in artistic and cultural exchanges, playing an active role in the reinvention and enrichment of creative practices on an international scale.
